When does 2019 ordering open?

Does anyone know when Toyota closes the books on new 2018 4R orders and starts accepting 2019 4R orders?

The dealership I do business with are taking names for pro's now, to get a feel on what to order.

I ordered my TE on July 2, 2012, the dealer was not sure if I would get a 2012 or 2013. Seems odd that the dealer's don't have more info. It was a few weeks later when the build was scheduled for a 2013.

If you have a dealer that sells at MSRP, and you want to buy a 2019, they will take your deposit and put your name on the list.

When I placed my deposit a month ago for my CB 2018 TRDP that arrives this week, they were willing to put me on the list for a 2019 if I wanted to wait.

Your best bet is to give a call to Toyota headquarter or all your local dealerships to get an “official” answer.
Folks on this forums are 4runner enthusiasts.

2019 msrp

On July 27, Toyota USA updated their published price list (see attached photo). Per my dealer, 4Runners mfg on or after August 1 are designated as 2019 models. Due to shipping transit times, they probably won’t begin arriving at dealers until September.

This is what I was told at my dealer also!

Wowser. $46K for a TRD Pro. Toyota is really wringing every last dollar out of this generation.

Looks like the screwing is ON!!! I guess that the Fox Suspension and JBL Pro Audio must be really high end or Toyota has just gotten greedy!!! Not seeing the Gox suspension costing them any more than the Bilstein system did. Gordon Gecko in Wall Street said it best; “Greed is good.” Apparently Toyota noticed. I am a Toyota guy but still no solid front axle and $50K with the dealers gauging as well, WTF??!

Basic business. There is no need to care about those who think it is too expensive as long as you can sell out total inventory to those who feel it isn't.

Ah - this might help explain why July sales were so high...perhaps people getting in under the price increase wire. July represented what looks like an all time monthly high for 5th gen sales

How much of a % increase does this represent approx?

No disagreement here. They'll sell every one of them. Probably at MSRP or above.

Looks like variable changes depending on trim. Current Off Road Premium MSRP is $39,895 I believe. This new price list says $39,995

That is the info that I have been waiting for. Does this mean I can go to a dealer and order one now?

Pleased to see the very minor increase.

called toyota

I just spoke with Toyota. The person told me he was familiar with this price list
of 7-27. I asked if I could go to a dealer now and order. After waiting awhile I was told"we have no information at all on the 2019.That was his final answer,he wouldnt even call a friend.
I need a job where I get paid to not know anything and not try to find anything out.
I'm already getting pissed and havent even been to the dealers yet. I buy quite a few rides and it's pretty much always a pain in the ass. The least stressful ever was my current Mustang GT. X-plan pricing,no negotiating.about invoice, zero junk fees. I almost enjoyed that.
Does anyone have any clue as to when I can order a '19 OR PREM?

Who at Toyota did you call? Dealership, or corporate?
