When posting pictures........

Why are they always sideways? And more importantly, how do I correct it when I post them?

Usually I am uploading them from my phone. They are not turned when I view them on my phone but when I upload them onto the site (I guess through Tapatalk) they show up sideways. I do no notice this until I view them on my computer.

They display sidways when you take them with your iPhone. The website obeys the information included in the photo itself regarding the orientation. The phone’s round ‘home’ button is on the right side. This is the only way the iPhone knows how to take pictures without the rotation problem. Solution? There are plenty of apps to allow you to rotate or websites that will do the same thing.

I use photobucket.com. It's free to set up an account and I have tons of photos and videos on there. You can then properly orient any photo you'd like.
