When to replace water pump?

Yes with all other belts including the timing.

Thanks guys, good stuff here and good pics. I blew my head gasket with 90,000 on a second timing belt. Debating fixing the gasket and selling it vs replacing the pump/belt as well and keeping it lol.



Either way, this is my first real engine work.

If you are capable of doing it replacing the head gaskets.....removing the timing belt etc is a big step towards that. Pulling the cams and figuring out what you want to do with the exhaust are about the only pain in the butt parts of the job.

Just make sure you chase the headbolt threads in the block before assembly.
