Better said! The past month I've driven my '92 xcab more than my 4runner because I've put new struts, rear shocks, springs, found my mysterious coolant leak on my passenger side, and restoring my roof rack I haven't had time to drive it all between school and work.

I have to disagree, you do need a spare car to drive while doing mods on your T4R! My wife will be getting pissed when I start doing mine! Sucks she has a 06 Nissan Xtrail... ...

My "spare" car keeps the miles off my 4Runner (4000 a year) and it gets double the MPGs but I doubt it will be as reliable as my Toyota has been for 176k miles.

I bought my 4Runner to drive while I was doing mods to my Diesel truck...that didn't last long. I fell in love with my 4Runner...I quit doing mods on the Diesel, now all my money goes into mods for the 4Runners. I really enjoy driving my Toy!
