Where can I get a Trail hood?

Anyone know of where I can get a trail hood online? Or does anyone know the exact part number for a trail hood? I went to my local dealership and talked to the parts manager, said he didn't know anything about the trails cause in Missouri we don't get them. But he said if I find the exact part number he could have it ordered. Thanks.

Here is the part number (53301-35230) from the document posted above. I think there is a prefix of 1.4 in front to indicate the trail hood?? I say just print page 14 of the parts document and bring it with you. I think it's lame that a parts person won't look up a part. I went and spent 2 hours looking up/cross-referencing parts for memory seats at my Toyota parts department. The parts guy had no problem with me being there; It's their job!!!

O snap you got one? Yea the dealers in Saint Louis and Columbia all said the same thing, "we don't get the trails, so we can't look up numbers" BS.

I am not sure if it will fit the TE, because the TE's hood has the air vent at the top but not on the LTD. I bought it and install on my SR5 and it fit perfectly, however it costs $200.00 and i don't think its worth it.

Where is all this cursing? I'm on 5 different forums and haven't read one peep about the Trail hood other than sun reflection... and that was from me.

yea, I've never heard a complaint. the scoop is actually a lot less pronounced then it was on the Tacoma.

On the 4th gen the regular hood insulation cannot be used with the sport hood ($200 for insulation). Also the hardware is separate (trim in the scoop $200).

What the French toast? lol. I asked my dealer if they could trade one from a different state and they refused. O wells, I like my SR5, I just want a trail hood to switch it up! lol.

What color is your SR5? I actually do not like the hood scoop. If it were functional I might appreciate it more. I have a magnetic gray TE. I would consider swapping with the same color hood off a LIM or SR5. Unfortunately for me I just had 3M paint protection film installed, so I would have to deal with getting it reinstalled on another hood.

Its black, if you were to consider just selling it, I would totally buy it.
