Where Do I Install My Onboard Air Compressor???

on saturday i tried to install my airtank under the back cargo area where the spare tire goes, but the only problem was i had to remove the spare, so it is mounted to the subframe parralel to the rear hatch, that was the only place under there i was able to install it, so it was all secure and im driving around today and i notice some creaking and i narrowed it down to the airtank, i did mount it with rubber bushings, but i think the creaking is coming from the bolts that mounted to the subframe.

so my question is- i dont think this is the ideal location, any other ideas of where i can install the tank and compressor?? can both be installed in the engine compartment? or can i install the compressor in the engine compartment and the airtank inside the shrockworks bumper? and ideas??
