Where do you hide your PIE?!

I planning to install a new HU and PIE adapter and wanted to get ideas from folks about where to stash the PIE box and the best way to route the RCA/miniplug cable into the cabin.

Have folks run the cable under the center console, into the glove box, into that odd storage box under the computer? Any and all ideas appreciated.

I hid mine behind the little pocket below the HVAC controls. The wires route to the center console near the passenger as that is were I have my GPS connected. I left some slack when I had my IPOD connected.

i'm sorry to get a little off topic but what brand is your head unit? i just recently found out about the 'PIE' and wanted one for my head unit but i couldn't find any for my panasonic. i've been using an FM transmitter which gets static-y. i'm trying to find one which will be plug into my PSP. hope you could help. :bigok:

I'm about to swap out the standard, stock 2004 Toyota HU for a 2006 Scion unit and will add the adapter then. Looks like PIE only makes adapters for OEM stereos, however. Have you tried hunting through discountcarstereo.com or logjamelectronics.com?
