Where do you put your hi lift jack?

Thinking of getting a hi lift jack. Where are you guys storing them? I'd like to see some creative or custom storage locations.

my 48 inch lift fits fine tucked right behing the two front seats. Considering making a mount to put it on my roof rack but I don't like the idea of it being exposed to the elements/theives...

Hey, can you post a picture of the mount installed? Steve's pic on his site kind of sucks.. I can't tell how it is fastened. What exactly did you buy?

So it's basically mounted at the opening of the cargo area? This means you have to load other items, like coolers and gear, over the jack?

it looks like it uses the bolts and holes from the factory cargo hold-down loops, I'm sure it's just a bracket that bolts into the existing bolt and holds the jack. I'd also assume it's held on with wing nuts for easy loading and unloading of your gear.

I have the 1st gen roll bar retrofitted, and that's where mine is mounted. I wanted it in the cab because I'm not really all about the "look everyone I'm a real wheeler because I have a hi-lift" thing...

That's what I figured. Now I have to find an interior solution for my 60".

You got it. I no longer have a hi-lift, but when I did, I carried it using Steve's mounts. It mounts using the rear stock D-ring bolts. Just remove the D-rings, and install these mounts in their place:

A generic location, but custom shaped some of those 4X4 Innovation $35 bumper mounts to mount here. As for the concerns with a roof mount, bicycle lube underneath neoprene and locks to come...

dont have one, but when i do get one i plan to have it mounted to my roll bar in some form or fashion.

I just fabed some mounts and put on my front ARB bumper.Not sure how I Iike it but I do like the fact that it is in reach.
