Where is the ABS computer? ('90 runner)

Anyone know where it is at?

I want to unplug it. The dash warning light has been on for a couple of years so I finally got around to taking it in to the dealer for a diagnosis. They said the abs computer was fried and would cost about $800 to replace it OR I could just unplug it to get rid of the light. Problem is I can't find the abs computer. I found the abs relay on the passenger fender however, unplugging it didn't make the dash light go off.

PS This is a 1990 4runner with rear abs only.
Also, the light used to go on and off every couple of months but has been on completely for about 2 years now. The brakes still work fine (dealer said they just wouldn't be anti-lock).

I think...not positive that it is located behind the panel which is directly to the left of your left foot on the dirvers side. It's been a while since I was in there. That could be the location in my Tacoma, I cannot remember. I will look in my repair manual to be sure.

No it's not there, but I don't know where it is. I looked in the repair manual and it said if the ABS needs servicing, take it to a dealer. No help there.

I did find it last night. It is above the glovebox inside the dash. Thanks for the help.

PS Unplugging it didn't make the dash light go off...:(
