After replacing all four of my rubber exhaust hangers/insulators today (all were half broken) i noticed for the first time in nearly a year of having this truck that apparantly, the exhaust pipe is shoved over the end of the header....... think of connection two drinking straws. Def not air/ exh tight!! I just seafoamed my truck and whilst feeding the juice in the brake booster vac line i was nearly choked out by the fumes coming up out of the engine bay. Its 1 am here now and idk how good of a pic my phone cam can get, but HOW IS YOURS CONNECTED? probably maybe a proper flange with some bolts? LOL i love this truck!

yup mine has a nice flange with 3 bolts.
most shops dont stock flanges so when someone brings there vehicle to have exhaust done they just rig whatever they can think of to make it work it was probably welded and then the welds didnt hold.
you will need a new manifold if you plan to fix this correctly.
RockAuto Auto Parts has new ones fairly cheap.

no that is correct actually! now that i see the picture i see what you mean.
the manifold has the flange to the pipe with a split in it that was probally put on withput taking the flange off so they didnt weld it around the hole pipe.
easy fix is to get a flange gasket and take the y pipe off then weld it off the vehicle to ensure a proper seal.
