Where to buy a Optima Red Top?

I need to buy a red top 34r, but I'm having trouble finding one. I can buy one online for around $125 but I'm a little skeptical about buying it online. My local kragens say they don't carry it.

I called costco, they sadi they only had the 35/75. Is it worth the 30-45 minute drive down to see if they have a 34r?

Is there anywhere else I can buy it or should I just buy it online?

And anyone know a place cheaper than $125 online?

Not sure on the price but search for Summit Racing. Large and reputable outfit.

Quadratec used to sell them. They're a large Jeep supplier that I purchased a lot from when I had my wrangler. Their prices are pretty competetive too. I also know interstate batteries sells them (I got 2 from them a few years ago), so try to find a local dealer and they should be able to get you one. Many times local shops are interstate battery dealers.

Also, if I buy the battery online, do I have to charge it in order for it to work? Or can I just pop it right in? Sorry, first battery change.

It should come charged, if it doesn't have enough of a charge in it to start your truck, i'd give whoever you got it from a call..sometimes you don't know how long they've been sitting on a shelf.
