Where to buy a stainless exhaust system?

I just got back into the hobby with a first gen, and I need a new exhaust system for the 22RE. Is there any source left for them? I cant seem to find anything on a general search.

Why do you want stainless on a 4runner?
I'd assume most exhaust shops can custom make a system for you.

IIRC Borla used to make one. Unless you just have your heart set on stainless for some reason, you would be better off using that money on a header and just piecing together your exhaust system. Doug Thorley and LC Engineering both make a nice header for the 22re if you want to drop the $$$.

gonna have to agree with crutchy. get headers and a muffler of your choice and piece it together. I love my lc engineering headers, been on the truck for a year and still look brand new

+1 on the LC header, they are awesome. I run one as well.

It has a header on it, I have no idea what brand. It seems to be the only mod the PO did besides Edelbrock shocks. I called around and was quoted $350 plus for a system with a new cat. Those quotes where with no name brand muffler/cat too, seemed like a lot, but it's been a long time since I needed one. I was hoping I could spend the same and buy a stainless set up to install myself. At least it would last for a long time. I like some of the aftermarket kits because the pipes are mandrel bent too, looks cleaner.

You will save buying the pieces you need from someplace like Summit Racing, Jegs, ect then taking them in to the shop. For a trail rig I would go with a welded set up 100% of the time. I went with high flow cat, dynomax superturbo and a stainless tip on my last truck and even with install was less than $350.
