where to buy Daystar kits???

I went to the daystart website and it only offers these "comfort" kits for the FJ and Tacoma. They have one for the 4runner through other websites but not the 2.5/1.5 that many of you guys have. Any links??

Should be able to keep the xreas with all spacer lift kits. If not, one of the more experienced will chime in...


2 minute update...this is right off the sellers website...

"XREAS COMPATIBLE! LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE XREAS SO WE CAN INCLUDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THAT APPLICATION."

Ordered a Daystar 2.5 / 2 saturday night and received it today (thursday) via UPS...great service too. I needed to tell them I have the XREAS...just jumped on the online service chat and they fixed me right up...great place and I will order from them again...

I also wanted to know...if you lift your ride and/or add bigger tires...do you lose turning radius? One thing I love about my 4R is my turning radius. I can turn on a dime and I love it. I used to have a Dodge truck (long-bed) and it took me several attempts to maneuver the smallest turnaround. Now I live too doughnut!!

Just wanted to know if you lift and/or add big tires if this radius gets bigger? I am assuming it does, but would like to know for sure.

I hear ya. Just to let everyone know...I ordered my lift on a Saturday night and received it that Wednesday via UPS for $11 shipping from Bend OR to me in Aurora CO.

I have 265/70/17 Perrelli Scorpions on it right now and they have too much good tread to replace. I'm thinking of going with 255/75/17 BFG's when I get to that point.

Not mine but he has the same lift and the 255's I'm thinking of going with...

I'm new to this forum. I just got an '08 Sport Edition V8 4WD a month ago. I too want to buy/install the DayStar 2.5/2 lift kit. Wanted to know if I keep the stock tires 265/65/17, will it look like donuts with the lift???......... any pics???

Here is a thread of Rider's lift with stock Dunlops. Cornfed 3/2, but that's still a good estimate of what yours would look like. It's a fine line to walk between looking a little small with the lift and throwing away tires with useful miles left on them. Do you plan to offroad a lot?
