Where to buy Speaker Adapters?

Hey guys I want to install some 6x9 and 6.5 speakers in my 04 4runner. Where can I buy these adaptors?

Look at Crutchfield or a local install shop. If you buy speakers from Crutchfield they send you the adapters for free, but their stuff is pretty high priced. If you go to a shop, you can probably order the adapters in.

Crutchfield is high priced but I did want to throw out one of the reasons why. My brother purchased a MP3 Head Unit for his Jeep from Crutchfield. I don't remember the brand/model, but he paided just under $300 for it. (Gives you an idea of when heh...) A few weeks after installing it, someone broken into his Jeep and stole the face plate. They cosemetically destroyed the base unit in the process, but didnt' get it out.

He wrote Crutchfield to see how much a replacement faceplate would cost. He was hoping the base unit was still useable. They replied back with "unit shipped, return unused parts." The next morning he opened the box and they shipped him an entirely new unit (overnight, no less).

So good customer service + all the parts you need = slightly higher price....

I was able to modify the existing speakers in both the front and back to mount my aftermarket 6.5 component speaker sets. I'll have some pictures up in the next day or so.

That's the truth. Crutchfield's service is great, and I have ordered from them before with only good things to say.
