Where to buy?

I just bought my 1999 4Runner Ltd w/ 4wd, and now it's already been messed up. I was stopped at a light when a tow truck dropped the car it was towing on my truck. The car (an escalade) slid sideways and hit my drivers side. Luckily the tow truck company doesn't have insurance.... The damage was only quoted at $530, but the only real damage that I can't fix is the broker Front Bumper Flare. If anyone knows where I can get a silver front bumper flare I'd be much ablidged.

Hold up, how can the tow truck company not have insurance? It is required by law! Did you get a police report? I would get them to pay you for the damages. Don't take this lying down! Go to your Toyota dealership and price it out. Have them print it out and get it to the tow company. Demand they pay for it. I would be furious if this happened to me.

I completely agree. They are required to at least carry liability insurance to even run their business. I really hope you got a police report.

Police didn't show up. I took pictures at the scene of the crime and documented everything I could. When I went down to the police station that said it wouldn't help me out as the damages were less than the $700 required. The police officer advised against filling out an accident report form because it would just go on my record and not help out. I'll plan on taking him to small claims for the damages (I got a quote) and minor neck injuries. Next step will be to call the insurance commissioner and attorney general to report his business. I'm getting this guy shut down for good. If it's not to much trouble I'll try to find out their clients and inform them the towing company isn't insured.

a limited fender flare?-no bumper flare

This accident was not your fault. It does not hurt your insurance record to file a claim that is not your error. If they do not have insurance then your insurance should cover it, you would have to eat the deductible and try to recover it.

You are being ripped off it sounds like. You did nothing wrong.
There is no way a commercial business can operate without liability insurance.

Good luck in shutting them down.

( I edited my posting-originally I thought you were referring to a front fender flare-I re-read your posting and it is clear you mean the bumper and not the fender flare)

I live in WA. Another thing I'm trying to do is have the local TV station do a blurb on the guy. He owns two used car dealerships... big surprise.
