Hi all,
I have a 2005 T4R with Nav and I'm "thinking about swapping it out for the much improved 2006 Nav unit.
What I would like to know is:
1. Will the 2006 Nav and all of it's fuctions work in a 2005 T4R that had/has Nav?
2. What items other than the Nav unit itself would I need to buy? (Steering wheel controls, Microphone, Wiring harness, etc.).
3. Where can I get all the item I need at the best price? (OEMValue doesn't sell the actual T4R unit).
I really like the features of the 2006 unit. From the pictures wbboydcofc posted in this thread it looks alot better than the 2005 model. Link
I love my 2005 T4R. It looks alot better than the 2006 models IMHO. In fact, if I had the chance to trade it for a 2006 model without paying anything I really don't think I would.

The perfect option would be to have the Nav unit, thicker windows, and re-enforced roof from the 2006 model in a 2005 body.
