Where to get Supercharger in Canada for SR5 1999 V6 TR4?

Hi There,

I am currently tricking out my 1999 SR5 Toyota 4runner (will post pics once finished) and am looking to purchase a TRD supercharger for it. However, finding this part in Canada seems to be difficult and paying the exorbinant customs fees doesn't make much sense either. I live in the Toronto area.

Also, looking for a great mechanic in Toronto area who specializes in TR4's.

Any help with these two issues would be really appreciated.

Thanks very much for the advice. I will likely have it shipped, however on all the other parts I have had sent, I have paid import taxes. As the supercharger is around $2700-
$3000, I figure the taxes I would have to pay would be steep.

depending on where you live and how much the taxes are find a friend you can ship it to and pick it up. My step dad and I bought a couple of drop forge hammers and bases and at 6000lbs a piece and we paid scrap value (company closed) and went and picked them up from some little town 15 miles away from buffalo on the canada side and brought them back to Michigan

Yes thats a good idea as well. As I have been living in Costa Rica for the last 10 years, I have shipped many items I have brought back here to my hotel in the states. I guess I could do the same with the supercharger. Have you found the best price on the supercharger and where I can find it? Any better than $2700 new?

There was one on kijiji.ca and that was about 2 weeks ago....only wanted 1200obo, it was the 2nd gen.
