Up for sale is a 2002 4runner 4x4 with TRD supercharger. SR5 Sport in thundercloud metallic.
If you have been holding out for the perfect 3rd gen, this is it.
Clean title, pink slip in hand
Will be smogged and ready for transfer of ownership (if in CA)
This vehicle needs nothing and is ready to take you around the world. I would not hesitate to sell it to an east coast buyer who is going to drive it back across the country
Vehicle went through a major overhaul at 320k which included
Timing belt/ water pump and all belts and pulleys
Valve cover gaskets
Spark plugs and wires
All new injectors
Two oem knock sensors and oem harness
Oil change, transmission fluid change, coolant change, front diff oil serviced, transfer case fluid serviced, rear diff fluid serviced, supercharger oil serviced. Air filter, fuel filter
External transmission oil cooler
New radiator and hoses
The supercharger is a first gen supercharger. Has already been rebuilt once before. You can tell just by looking at it and feeling it and hearing it that it is fully healthy. Pulls a solid 6 psi. Supercharger was installed at 320k along with all the preliminary maintenance work. Also have the CARB EO # for the smog check (CA)

Vehicle has a 3” suspension lift plus a 1” body lift. I really contemplated doing a body lift however, it has absolutely zero rubbing issues even under full flex
Bay Area Metal Fab rock sliders
BFG 285/75/16 on stock rims one year and a half old with lots of thread left. Also comes with a full size spare that is brand new
Engine runs at 100% and leaks nothing and needs absolutely nothing. Driving this thing has been a dream. Loaded up with all of my camping gear, bikes, cruising down the freeway this thing drives like a land cruiser. The driveability is truly amazing with the supercharger and all new suspension. It drives like it’s brand new
All interior controls work, all windows work, heater, rear heater and AC work. Has the LED conversion on inside bulbs. Has new front seat covers and will come with brand new OEM floor mats. Has alpine head unit and All new door speakers. Oem cargo cover is included. New oem automatic shifter bushings.
Bring your Toyota expert friend to check it out. It needs nothing
I’ve had this vehicle for 7 years. Bought it off an old lady who delivered flowers for a living
The paint is in excellent condition in most of the body but it is starting to fade in the front bumper. The only real damage to the Body is the dent in the rear corner bumper. I have a new painted replacement that I did not install yet because I wanted to keep the original one on there for now. But I will include it. Small scratches here and there. And the radio antenna is stuck in the UP position.
I performed all of the maintenance myself. Planned on keeping to forever but plans change
Asking $11,000 on Craigslist. But really I will sell it for 10k to a forum member
No test drives unless you have cash. Must wear a mask to check it out. And I am in no rush to sell. I have many memories in this rig and want to pass it on to someone who is going to add many more. Is also for sale locally so this may end at any time
It’s a CA rig so absolutely zero rust
