Where to hide huge crossover?

Hey all,

I was thinking of buying a set of component speakers that has a single crossover with the dimensions of roughly 12" x 12" x 2.5". This thing is huge and I can't really imagine it hiding in the usual spots.

Where would ya'll recommend?

Thanks

What in the world. Haha

I can only think of under a seat. That's enormous man... Considered something without a crossover that large?

Not really. The speakers got crazy good reviews and they were a good deal, I think. But my god the crossover is huge. I may just put it in the back with the amps.

Uhh, well if that's what you want then yeah, you're going to have to hide one under each seat, unless you have a rear heater then you can't. There's nowhere in the dash that will fit something that huge.

Running speaker wires to the trunk & back isn't efficient since if there's a power wire nearby it might distort the signal.

Just looking for advice on mounting, not speaker recommendations.

I can separate the signal wires, speaker and main lines to some degree. Is there going to be much noise coming from the main power line? Those signals are pretty different.

i believe the power wires only interfere with RCA cables and not the actual speaker wire. you should be fine to mount them in the back.
