Where to install the "non dash" type DVD player

I would like to know if anyone has installed at DVD player in a 4Gen 4Runner, the type that does not install into the dash. Also not the type that is part of the roof mount kit.
Hope this makes sence.
I had my wife email me some pictures of the space between the floor and the passenger seat, and thought that this could be a possiblility, but was also courious if others have installed in different locations.
I prefer the type that part of the roof mont. I don't want my child to be busy changing dvd, and I don't like the type that installs in the dash, with the screen right next to me while I drive.
Of course these are just my preferences, and that's why I looking at places to install the stand alone type of dvd player.

The picture is the location I was thinking of, but I'm always open to different options, or even picutes from those who have installed dvd players in this location.

if you could mount it above or before the underseat vent it probably would work. otherwise you could overheat the unit if you placed it near the vent when you have heat on.

Here is where I installed mine. the small compartment in the glove box is a perfect fit. I have my Alpine XM tuner under the passenger side front seat, and it is a tight fit, but it has never had a problem with overheating. But I also live in arizona, and it is almost 100 degrees in march, so my heater does not get used much, but when it was on I did not have any problems

(The stuff from the briefcase in Pulp Fiction) HA..., actually nothing I could not get the picture to download because I already had the same picture in the Gallery section, so I just erased part of the picture to make another version of it. I also thought it would be eaiser to see the mounting location without all the owners manuals detracting from the DVD.
