Where to mount stereo gear?

Gents,
Just traded our RAV4 for a 4R. I ripped out the old stereo and wish to place it in the 4R. The factory stereo doesn't sound all that great as far as quality goes. It seems to be too bass heavy.

The Rav didn't have 3rd row seating so I was able to stow everything in the hole that the 3rd row would have folded down into (2 amps, sub, HD radio, satellite, etc). Unfortunately in the 4R there doesn't seem to be that same space.

If you've got 3rd row... where are they stored when not in use? My priority is NOT to take up any space in the back for the one 10" I have.

There's got to be some way.

Thanks for the inputs, I'm glad to have found a forum that's got some info and a group that's already got aftermarket gear on a new body style vehicle.

Expect more questions from me in the future, I'mma still learning.

The 3rd row seat cushions slide back & under the seat backs when folded down. When you pull the seat backs up you have to slide the seat cushions forward. There might be a little space under the seat backs when they're folded down but that goes away when you put them back up.

What I mean was where do the 3rd row seats hand out (stowed) when compared to a vehicle that doesn't have them. Then I did more scouring and noticed there is a false floor behind the 2nd row for those vehicles equipped with 3rd row.
