Where to Purchase a Clock?

Hi folks, I'm a relatively new 4runner owner and have been reading the forums for a few months now. I love all the tips and tricks the community has shared!

Like the rest of you, the clock on my new-to-me '99 4runner was dead. When I went to fix it using the tutorial I found on here I used a crappy soldering iron and really botched the job. The clock is beyond salvage (broke a copper trace) and I need a new one.

Can any of you recommend a place online to buy a one (new or used) that's not going to cost me $50?

try your local junkyard..

when mine went out, I was quoted '$300' for just an clock at the dealer and I said **** that.. instead, I went to a local Toyota junkyard and brought a used one for $30.. where are you located?

I'm near Oklahoma City. I LOVE salvage yards and they're always my first choice for random parts. I actually spent about an hour yesterday calling every yard I could find within 20 miles of town and I only found one that had a 4Runner with a clock still in it. I'm guessing the rest were taken by owners with busted clocks.

This guy wants $30 for it so I'll probably run down this weekend and get it if our local electronics guru can't fix the trace I broke on my old one.
