I was wondering where others have placed their PIAA's on the 2003 4 Runner. I am deciding on getting either the 998 Turbojector or the 1400 Series.
My first choice was to place the 1400 Series into the slot provided for the stock fog lamps. However, I'm worried that some punk might rip them off since it's a common occurance around my area. At first I thought it might be alright, but once I looked under the bumper I noticed that I am probably going to have to mount it to a plastic piece on the bumper and that would be too easier for the person to just litterally rip them off.
My friend suggested that I should cut a little piece off of the lower grill (where the lisense plate is)
and mount it on the steel reinforcment bar that goes along the bumper. Kinda like what they do with the rice rockets (hondas).
I would really like to put them in the spot where the stocks are supposed to go since I'm already one of the guys that lucked out and have my 4 Runner pre wired.
