which battery match our stock panasonic spec

with this cold weather here in NYC I've been getting a slow crank from my alsmost 10 years old battery and 82,500mi. Is time to replace

I replaced mine with a red top Optima 34R several years ago and it has been
trouble free. It fit with no modifications. You must get the R model. That stands for reversed terminals that toyota uses. The positive and negative post are on opposite side compared to most vehicles. If you do not get the R model the cables will be to short.

The only way you can get a battery as good as that Panasonic is to go to the dealer and get another Panasonic. No aftermarket battery comes close. The stock Panasonic in my old Maxima lasted over 15 yrs, and even then I killed it by leaving the interior lights on for days.
Expect to pay 400 or so.

I usually just go with the Napa battery. I try to install highest CCA in same group that would physically fit.

Fine, that's a good way to do it, but it's still a remanned battery.

Theres only a handful of battery manufacturers, google around to see who makes the panasonics for them, and buy it on a cheaper brand.

I usually get my batterys using coupons codes from Advance Auto and get there gold ones (3 year full warranty), or go to costco and get there ones with the longest warranty cause its cheapest.

I went with the Toyota True Start, their high end battery. It comes with a 7 year warranty I believe. I bought the truck with 109,545 miles and the stock Panasonic battery did not pass the load test so I replaced the battery (which was on sale for $90 as opposed to $140 or something like that). If I recall correctly, those Panasonic batteries are not available here in the U.S. My sister's 2005 RAV4 with 147,000 miles is still running on that stock Panasonic battery, which passed the load test recently. Those things are incredible.

The warranty after like 4 years are not usually "full warrenty's" it's like some prorated crap or something.

It says it's maintenance free but it's not.
Check the battery indicator. Maybe you don't need to replace it. Mine was cranking slow a few years ago. The fluid level was low and all you need to do is add distilled water. The battery case is translucent/opaque. Shine a light through the side and check the level. Don't confuse the solid area of the internal plates with the fluid level. It's a Group 31 [Edit: Correction Group 27F or 24F] battery which is usually found in heavy trucks. Thankfully Toyota went overkill on the battery. I check mine yearly as part of my maintenance routine.

ps. Don't add electrolyte, just add DISTILLED water (usually available at drug stores.) It may take a few days of driving to fully recharge depending on the current state of charge.

thank! the battery is cranking fine now. i'll check on the fluid level. we had some cold weather back in january
