I am slowly piecing together my own system. Due to longer springs, I will be needing a longer front shock so that I don't have to preload as much. I would like to have a shock that will allow for a 15" spring (650lb). Right now I of course still have the stock TRD pro front system. It doesn't have to be adjustable as long as the distance from the bottom of the shock to the the bottom spring perch is the same length as the TRDP Bilsteins.
There is a lot to choose from, and I want to get it right. This is a work truck, so it isn't for rock crawling or the sort. However, I work around a lot of quarries and mines, so it does see abuse from time to time. Budget is around $300 or so for both fronts shocks.
I have 100K miles on my 2015 TRDP right now, and I have to wager with the abuse they have seen, that it is probably time to replace them anyway. I've been getting quite a bit of lingering bounce over the last 10K miles or so.
