which lift should I go with?

I am looking for a lift for my 97 4runner.

Burtman Ind. has spacers for $250

I am also looking at the 2.5" Old Man Emu Suspenion Kit but it costs almost $700.

There is a huge price difference between the two, I was wondering if I should go with the spacers since they are so much cheaper. Can anyone with the spacers share some info about the ride quality, etc.?

Also, can I use my stock wheels and rims with either setup or would I have to step up to bigger tires?

How many miles are on the suspension since if it's over 100k you might as well replace the shocks and coils since spacers won't hide worn out components.

I'd go with the Slee setup.

I can't say enough positive things about Toytec. I really didn't notice a ride difference, except I sit up higher, lol. A+ product and A+ customer service.

That's because the Slee's kit comes with shocks and struts, the Toytec does not...

I can get you BOTH setups. The cornfed give you the most for your money and is any easy/inexpensive way to lift your truck and it still rides good.

Don't bother w/ a spacer lift as your stock coils will eventually sag. Buy the more expensive lift where you replace coils and shocks. Since the truck is probably due new springs and shocks anyway, why not get some lift at the same time?

just remember, you get what you pay for. 700 is cheap for a lift, my coilovers cost that alone
