Which O2 sensor to purchase?

Thank you. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. I wish I could relax because ordering the part and getting this repair process moving is a weekend thing only (I'm the working mom breadwinner) and I had no idea how responsive and helpful this community would be. Plus there's the "honey do" factor...I'm still waiting for my hubby to install my radio after I asked him 4 years ago!

This O2 sensor issue is more pressing of course and I've ordered the non-cali version because your diagram helped us determine we only have one cat. You definitely saved me some cash because this part lists for $62 and the repair place was double just for the part.

If you have an iOS device, I can offer a free version (promo code) of a cool app in exchange for your time. This is what my hubby spends his time on when he is not being asked to fix my car: Luminancer Connecting to the iTunes Store.

Now off to search for other things to solve or upgrade on my truck!

Thanks, but I live in an aggressively non-Apple (Android/Windows) world. Happy to help. What does the app do, just out of curiosity? No iTunes on my computers so I can't find out from the link.

I have a 49 state 2000 4WD V6 and I need to order both.

According to the link SJC4Runner provided (urdusa.com) it claims I need the 234-4162 for both?
1999 & 2000 49 State 2WD & 4WD auto V6; Front = 234-4162
1999 & 2000 49 State 2WD & 4WD auto V6; Rear = 234-4162

Now when I called the Toy dealer he said, they were both different but would need my vin#?

Lastly Amazon says they both 4162 & 4154 will work?


So do I order two 4162s or one and a 4154?

Ahh, this brings up a fond memory. There was a problem with the rear sensors on one model and it's yours, I believe.

234-4154 probably is the right one in the back, and even if it isn't, you will just have four inches of extra wire.

I am assuming you are auto trans since that is the URD listing you posted.
