I did a search and did not find anything for us older 4Runner owners..Mine is a 2nd generation. I am getting some moaning noises from the power steering when it is cold. The fluid level is good, but I want to fluch it out and put some new in there. I can't seem to find my Chilton's manual (which I don't like anyway)...it's dissappearance probably has something to do with my 2 year old daughter....
So: does my '90 take ATF or some special PS fluid? Had a bad experience with a VW and their $20 a quart mineral-oil based fluids!
