Which T4R Should I Buy?

I just bought a Chalet XL1935 trailer with a weight of 3,500 pounds.
We really want to buy a T4R, but am not sure whether to buy a V6 or
V8. Any suggestions?

How often will you be towing it?

The 5th gen V6 towing capacity is roughly 5,000lbs, so providing the 4th gen V6 is in the same range, you should have no problems towing the trailer (depending on what will be loaded into it).

Obviously the V8 will tow it "easier" (you will notice it less while driving), and you will be able to load it up more.

+1 Youll probably want to add a trans cooler if youre pulling more than 100 miles at a time. Remember that the 3500 is the total weight loaded.

The weight adds up fast so pack wisely.
