I'm think ahead...wayyyy ahead to my next tire purchase...I've got about 15-20k left on my 285/70/17 KM2's, but I'm trying to decide on my next tire.

BFG KM2 35x12.5R17

Toyo Open Country M/T 285/75R17 (34x11.5)

Goodyear MTR Kevlar 35x12.5R17

I really like the Toyos only because of the size. I am really not thrilled to have to run a 12.5" wide tire, I'd really like to run a 10.5 or 11.5 maximum. I wish everyone else would get on the ball and make a 35x10.50R17 or 285/85R17
Also if you have any other suggestions besides the three shown, don't hesitate to chime in.

Vote for GY. I've heard Toyo's are HEEEAAVVVYYY why add the unnecessary weight?

I love my Wranglers! I got these right when they came out with the new design and fell in love with them. I'll be getting new tires here in a few months and going to stick with GY Wrangler's most likely. Something drastic would have to come up for me not to.

The Toyos! I too like the 285/75/17 size. I wish everybody would make that size. The toyos are about the best balancing, smoothest riding, and quietest riding mud tire that I have seen. They are heavy but they are built tough. They are pretty good on the snow and ice from what I have seen. They also wear good for a MT. I don't have any experience with the GY's but everyone who runs them seems to like them. They were the tire of choice for this past years Peterson's 4wd and Offroad Ultimate adventure. I've always been a fan of BFG's. I run the AT's on my silverado and just did about 100 miles of Continental divide trail yesterday with them without any issues. The BFG MTs are better on a light 4x4 (like the 4runner/Taco) than a heavy truck. I have seen the BFG MTs have some squirming issues on heavy trucks. In my opinion though, I feel the toyos are a better all-around MT.

I would take the Toyo.
I have it on my LC in 33x10,5 R15. Good tire.
I don't like the new design of the GY. Have the old MTR on my Hilux. A good tire on trail, but lousy on street.
No experience with the BFG
