Which Tires for me?

This Saturday I'm getting my CF 2/1 installed and shortly after i'm upsizing tires. My truck is used mostly on pavement, so I'm looking for something quiet and with a relatively long lifespan. But I also want a rugged tread and the tires to stick out a little.
I've been looking at Cooper Discoverers and Pro Comp A/T's. My Dad has the Pro Comps on the Jeep and loves them. Under $200 each is kindof my price range.

So
1) What would be a moderate tire upsize to go with without going overboard?
2) Whats a good quiet tire with a rugged look decently priced?

Don't know about the size, but you have plenty of choices from cheap to expensive: Yokohama Geolander AT-S, Nitto TG, Goodyear SilentARmor, Bridgestone Dueler REVO, BFG AT KO, and Michelin LTX A/T-2. I think that LTX A/T-2 maybe a good fit for you...IF the price is right (it is kinda pricey from what i have heard).

As always, FOR ME, i always prefer a big brand tire company over a smaller one.

Off name brand are made by the bigger company's to different spec's or just marketed under a different name . ( I would guess )

Thai brought up some nice tires to look into. Wanting to stick out would be with wider rims or different offset rims or wheel spacers ( which I don't approve of ....lol)

There are alot to choose from with tires , bottom line is what works well for you as far as looks of the tire , and performance you need for your area or what you do.

I have up sized Revos 265/70/17's on my 06. This is my second set , excellent tires , good gas milage , always stayed in balance , ride nice , nice look , but they have their strong and weak points like all tires do.

It would help if we had a year of the vehicle and what inch rims you have ( 16's 17's 18's )

The 2/1 is a nice lift in my opinion , perfect without overkill as far as looks . You can off road with spacer lifts with in reason , plenty of people do without a problem.

The Revos look nice. I'm going to definitely look into those.
I have an 06 as well with 16" Moto metal 951's. My stock rims were 8" wide while these are 9" on stock tires.

Firestone Destination A/T's are getting really good reviews and seem to be a bargain. I saw a Ranger Super-cab the other day with what looked to be a 265/70 size. Looked great (for a Ranger:lmao: )

Those will be on my short list when the time comes and they have a 265/75/16 which would work well on your rims with your lift.

I actually decided to go with 265/75/16 Mast A/T Sport Kings. Only drove them home so far. Quiet. SMOOTH. awesome looking. I'll post a picture after my windows are done....i have a tinting company in my driveway retining to limo
