Which Tire is quieter on the road?

I want to know which tire is less noisy. I plan on getting 265/70/17 in the lighter load range for each tire. So I have it narrowed down to the Revo's or the Terra Grappler's. Off road performance is not as important as quietness on the highway as 99% of my driving is highway commuting. I am mainly going for looks with the Daystar 2.5" lift Spidertrax spacers and the taller tires.

Good call, subscribed as I am tire shopping as well. Perhaps consider Toyo Open Country AT.

I was also thinking about the Pirelli Scorpio ATR, but they are significantly more money than the Bridgestone and the Nitto thats why I left them off. If anyone has any thoughts on the Pirelli's I'd be interested to hear from you too.

Not sure I like they way the Toyo looks, but thanks for bringing it to my attention, I'll do a little research on them as well.

I have had both of the tires above. REVOs are significantly quieter.

Toyo Open Country AT is the same as Nittos...so, i would not recommend them over REVOs.

Others to consider: Michelin LTX A/T-2 (excellent, but very expensive), Yokohama Geolander H/T-S (good & cheap), and Goodyear Wrangler Fortera/SilentArmor series (excellent, but may drop fuel economy and may be pricey).

I just ordered the Revo's on closeout from Tirerack. 265 70 17 for $139 a tire. I think I got a good deal.

Thought for a second about ordering the new Revo 2's but there is no info about them out yet and I figured I'd save the money for now, until they are proven.
