Which tires?

The BFG's are supposed to have good tread life. I'm on my first set, and I love the look of them. I had General Grabber AT2's before which are actually great tires. I can't say enough good things about them.

I am looking at the Nokian Hakkapelita R2 for the winter season (mix of dry pavement, packed snow and deep snow) which lasts about 7 months here in the Yukon. Can't wait to get them!

I had those on my Eurovan Westy and loved them. Let us know how they do on the runner.

Tires

I have just replaced the original Bridgestone Duellers Ht on my 2016 Trail Premium with Falken Wildpeak AT3s in same size-265/70/17.I did a lot of research using this forum and others and chose these.I looked at the BF Goodrich TA KO2 but they are overpriced and ,in my opinion not worth the hype. There are other excellent tires out there.Do your own research and do not be swayed by "opinion" .Also use 1 Engineer's tire/wheel fitment guide--he has done a lot of work on this forum to help others.

I just put the Falken WildPeak AT/3 on my '16- great price and Discount Tire has a $75 rebate- they look aggressive and seem good on and off road (so far).

This will be the tire I go to when my tires wear out.

I have read good reviews.
