What about the Gun metal level 8 MK6 wheels?
This is how they look on mine. I still like my old 5 stars better imo

My vote is the stock 5 stars. I think they did a good job with this wheel.

If you were going to go through all the trouble to pay a chunk of change for aftermarket wheels, get ones that offer good go-forward specs. Something that has good backspace and width for any of your future build plans.

Ask yourself, 16's? or 17's?

17's generally means a slightly more expensive tire and less tire between you and the terrain, but seems to be easier to find more new tires.

16's generally are slightly less expensive and more rubber between you and the terrain, but sometimes it means you might miss out on certain selections of tires.

I’m a big fan of the stock 5-star wheels. I have them on my 4Runner, and when I first bought the car, I’d thought about getting aftermarket wheels, but the more I look at them, the more I like them.

Save your money for other mods, and if the wheels really bother you, make that your last upgrade. They’re purely cosmetic and yield little to no merit by getting lighter/more expensive wheels.

Was debating wheels when I do a lift on the 2000 4runner I just picked up. It has these wheels which I don't recognize as Toyota. Maybe they are aftermarket?

I'm not a big fan of black wheels but on Silver 4Runners the black TRD Wheels look best to me.

On white 4Runners I think the gunmetal look best. But looking at the white 4Runner above... those black ones look pretty sharp too.

Personally I prefer the grey Pros out of the options given.

Those look like some of the optional Enkies that you see from time to time. They look super early 90s dated.

Okay, looks like stock it is. I like them too actually and seeing them with the beefier tires helps. I'll use the wheel money for an ARB front bumper!

I agree with the rest the stockers do look the best. The pro wheels like that don't fit the older 3rd gen as much as the 4th and 5th IMO.
