While your in there (Suspension)

I'm pulling the sick and dying motor, I have another thread started on that. While In the front of the vehicle I want to replace and make new every problem suspension and steering component that may be an issue. Truck lives in Florida, has seen mud, but not mercilessly, 250K on the clock and loved to a point.

I have new LBJ's, New tie rod ends, new sway bar mount bushings and new sway bar links. I have a new bushing set for the steering rack. I am ordering new Upper Ball joints today after inspecting the broken boots.

My question: Based on the below pics, should I replace the lower and upper control arm bushings? I don't want to replace anything unnecessary, but I am not afraid to yank everything to the bone. I don't want to get, "whats another $100" to death. Everything I have purchases so far is OEM. Unfortunately OEM for the bushings is a $300 ish decision. My $$$$ is approaching bingo.

As for the rear. I have already purchased new Upper control arms, lower control arm bushings, and new sway bar bushing mounts. Everything else looks to be in good working order.

If I'm missing any component that is a while your in there, no brainer, let me know.

I made the mistake of using Moog bushings less than 10k miles ago and now they are totally shot. I will be redoing these in the near future with Toyota oem bushings. You can probably postpone your bushings for several years. I replaced everything in my front suspension and was VERY happy with the feel of the suspension after it was done. Now I have to replace the Moog crap I installed.:embarassed:

inner & outer tie rod ends, steering rack bushings, LBJ's, struts, springs, shocks.
It's easier to buy & replace the lower A-arms, You can get after market upper & lower rear control arms that are cheaper & stronger than stock.

Interesting, I almost opted for moog stuff.
I bought new LBJ's and am going to swap the uper control arm mounts as they look shot but I cant bring myself to replace the lowers, considering how good the uppers looked when i pulled them. But with new ones on the way, why not right. The springs and shocks are from the toytec ultimate lift i put on a few years back, so Im assuming they are still good, but a shock is not a huge deal to go back and swap if it is in fact bad.

ODD NOTE, both my sway bar link lowers had no nut on the end of them. They were still in the lower mount but no nut? Any idea what might have caused this, or did I not tighten them down when i installed them 4 years ago?
