my father calls the 4runner a "working mans vehicle." whatever that means. so are you guys "white collar" or "blue collar"?

These are Standard adjectives applied to people who work for a living: blue-collar workers work with their hands and with machines and are thought of as wearing blue workshirts that don

You should have included an option for both. I worked at a blue collar worker for years, but now I'm a white collar worker.....sort of. I'm a manager for a shop of machine mechanics at a large pharmaceutical company. I may be the boss, but I still get my hands dirty and do some of the grunt work once in a while. Unfortunately, I end up wrecking my nice shirts and pants.

I work in public service where I have to wear a neatly pressed uniform and work with computers and other typical white-collar type work, but there are times where I get dirty and hands-on. I can't really decide on one or the other, so maybe a "both" category would be appropriate.

I worked at a ski resort for 9 years, so you could say I work in a white outer clothing job with a blue collar underneth. Now I am in school for a white collar job that designs things for blue collar workers, CADD.

Yeah, I would need a both option too. Some days I get my hands (and truck) dirty and other days I'm provisioning routers and other peripherals.

White and Blue = Light Blue collar

I'm a Poker Dealer (yeah, like the crap ya' see on ESPN) I think of my job more like a blue collar than white 'cause we do work with our hands (it's pretty similar to a factory assembly line job) and they DO get dirty. You'd never guess your hands could be black after 1.5-2hrs of dealing, but ya'. Them poker tables, chips, and cards are freakin' nasty. Damn dirty degenerates, haha.
