White Limited Trail Edition Body

Has anyone done the Harper7 trail modifications to a blizzard white limited? I have been out of the 4Runner game for few months and now I am missing having one. I am thinking about picking up a 5th gen and trying this conversion.

Why dont you wait until they release the White TE...I hope they come up with white color by the time I am ready to buy one lol...but to be honest I am digging all the Limited features like Navi etc etc...more than the trail but I like the Trail body style way better tho'

Yea, I thought about that. But I don't want to wait on Toyota to come out with it. I don't care about the KDSS so much and I wouldn't mind having leather. Plus it would be cool to have a white "trail" before anyone else. And yes I did sell mine about 3 months or so ago.

I would be surprised if anyone other than Harper has done the conversion. Not many people have the cojones to rip apart a brand new 40k suv.

Yeah. I believe that he negotiated the parts as part of his original purchase.

You would be the first with the BP! It would look great IMO......Go for it!

If you have any experience with basic body work and panel removal ......I'll help you out as much as I can over the phone if you have questions/problems. hint....hint....I did get all my parts thrown in for free as part of my original deal with the sales manager but I did pay $350 to have the bumper covers painted.They and I didn't think it took that many parts to do the conversion!

The hardest parts to change are the front wheel well liners, the flares on the rear doors and flares on the rear quarter panels.
A couple of simple L brackets had to be made to tie them into the actual bumpers also.

Yea, it was getting a little too much attention from the "law" down here and I was getting pulled over at least once a month, even with the tint taken off. That and I needed something with better gas mileage cause I'm driving a lot. But at this point I miss the room and being able to go offroad.

OMG they gave you all the conversion parts for free? How did you work out that deal and what did they say once they realized how much $$$ they had to dish out?
