White Out 97?

I have a 97 limited white with the silver bottom. I was wondering if anyone had pics of or something to modify a pic to see what a 97, not 98up would look like. Im looking at doing the trim, bumpers and grille. Thanks

You're thinking about painting all that white? I think it would look good.

There were no major changes from '97-98 fyi. If you're thinking about the different front bumpers, those started in '99.

I don't but I love white vehicles. I'm betting it will look great. Maybe do the wheels and emblems in Gunmetal.

thats what i meant. 99. i have seen a pic floating around on here of the white 99 with the fat lip but cant find one of my body. i saw the one like mine blacked out and it looked pretty sick.

well i already have 17" black and machined procomps on it with 33s. I just put those on a few months ago so no more wheels for now. But that would def look good. I am just trying to get an idea before I go drop a grand on something I am not sure about. But I really do like the idea of all white.

If you have the money and want to do it, go for it. I think it would look good. You should also get the windows tinted and get some clear corners.

I have seen it done before, but it was the SR5 trim and on a 98 but besides your lower door trim and slightly larger flares, it looked the same except all white. The only difference between the look of the one in the pictures about and yours will be the white tone. The one from the factory that is all white is a pearl and the yours is a natural white.

The one I saw was natural white and looked great.

yeah it def needs tint. But the clear coners i already have ill have to get the new pic up soon. And i still have some time to think about it but i think i just needed some one to tell me it would look good just to get me over the edge. lol

i have a white 96 and i just blacked mine out on the trim.
the more i look at it though i wish i did the trim white and just the flares black

Have you gotten quotes yet? I've always wished my 4runner was one color, but it's never bothered me enough to spend the money to have it painted.

I hear that- all white would look awesome. I too have wanted to do mine all one color- actually been thinking about something like a bedliner spray over the tan tho. Have you gotten a quote on paint?

ok, i got the quote at a local shop and he said $1000 worst case. But, if its just a scratch and paint job it will only be like 700-800. I didnt think that was too bad but i am going to still get a few more quotes. And that was with him taking everything off and doing it as well. rather than me having to do it.
