Looking to see what the 4Runner looks like FROM THE FACTORY without a cargo tray or 3rd row (I've seen Harpers uninstallation of the cargo tray btw, that's NOT what I'm looking for).

I'm thinking about removing my cargo tray but want to see what a FACTORY installed rear cargo area looks like without the tray or 3rd row seating, if there is such a thing.

I have a LE w/o tray or 3rd row seat. I'm new to this forum so i'm not sure about posting pix or links but I'll give it a try.2011 limited BP pictures by donwinges - Photobucket

First one I've actually seen without the sliding tray from the factory.

It looks so much bigger back there. Probably going to have to go to the dealer parts dept to see what parts back there are different.

Wow yeah that's the first one I've seen like that too. At first I wasn't into having the tray and I'm still not sold, but after seeing those pics I'm not liking how the back of the rear seats isn't level with the cargo area. It's obviously better than the other way around (3rd row equipped), but it'd be kind of uncomfortable if you ever decided to sleep in the back. I've blown up an aerobed and slept in the back of mine before, and I found it to be pretty decent.
 
Limited #2 From Factory Without Cargo Tray or Seat

My 2011 Limited is just like the pictures posted earlier in this thread and came directly from the factory that way. I ordered it. There is substantially more room this configuration, but as noted the whole floor is not one level surface. You can also get the Husky liner for this configuration that fits beautifully. In the northwest, stripped down SR5s frequently do not have the cargo tray or the 3rd row seat.
 
You are correct toystry. There is no cargo bin but you do gain a few inches of height back there without the tray.

Ciaz, when I started looking for a 4runner I actually wanted one with the tray but the nearest one was 100 miles away. My dealer offered to get it for me, but I didn't like the idea of some kid beating on my ride for it's first 100 or so miles. The tray wasn't that important so I decided on the BP limited he had on the lot. I'm guessing if you were to sleep back there, a lounge chair cushion or a camping mat or two under the aerobed would help. Don

I know this is a bit off topic, but is it me, or are the pictured rear seat head rests a lot bigger than the 2010s? They look almost as big as the front seat ones in pic #6 on there. I have a 2010 LTD without 3rd row and mine recess into the tops of the seat backs a little.

Also, that is a nice rear cargo area mat that comes stock! I like those holes in it for the tiedowns.
 
It was pretty tough for me to find a limited w/ no sliding cargo.

It's a sweet feature but I just didn't see myself needing it.

I'm pretty tall so I can reach the back seats w/o having to touch the back of the truck at all. (so my pants don't get dirty)

The rear headrests are the only difference i've noticed between the 2010 & 2011. The cargo mat with the strap holes is not stock. It's the Husky mat mentioned throughout this forum. Relatively cheap @ autoanything.com.
 
Just to note, my pic is of the Toyota accessory cargo mat. There are no tie down holes, it stops before the forward rings with a lip. There is no rear lip, so you need to keep the mat rearward enough to cover the carpet.

Oh I got the Husky mixed up with the other one that was posted. My bad. So, do you have to remove those headrests to put down your rear seats?
 
Don't have tray or 3rd row either, and I have a weather tech cargo mat. I'll try and post pics.
