Hey all,

Who here has AOL Instant Messenger on their computer?? It can be downloaded for free at: http://www.aim.com/

If we all can get on this, then we can setup a chatroom to talk about our 4runners (questions, comments, or talk about other inferior cars/SUVs). I am no professional at this computer stuff...so i am still learning this thing...but it sure sounds interesting!

I stay away from the instant message services....we use Lotus Sametime at work (it's the technology behind some of the ones mentioned in this thread), and after getting a couple hundred messages a day, I prefer to stay away from the computer after hours.

I was chatting with Thai last night and we are going to to get something a little different going. We talked about the web based java chats and he is going to see if his Hosting company provides his with that service. If so he'll have a 4Runner chat room...

If that is the case, how did you come upon this? Or is Gatorgreg the brains behind the operation? I was thinking for awhile to start a forum of my own, but between all the other things in my life I just do not have the time right now. But if you have one and don't really know computers I wonder how difficult can it really be.
