Who has RCI control arm skids?

Just wanted to know if anybody else has any weird issues with these skids. There doesn't really seem to be a way for me to vote them on and get more than just a few threads into the bolts and even if I could bolt then... I'm sure they can contact the frame during compression.

Can someone post a picture of theirs mounted, and the bolts as well?

Yea the rear bolts don’t really have much threads, front bolts go all the way through the nut though. The more you install/remove these skids the more they shape to the contour of the LCAs. You definitely have to put a sizeable notch in them to avoid contact with the frame, it took a few tries before mine totally clear.

Yours actually look a little different than mine. I have been emailing back and forth with RCI and they confirmed I have the correct ones. I'm thinking a notch like that would make me feel better.

They are the same it just looks different cause I cut a huge notch in them lol. Let me know if RCI has a solution or something.. I’ve confirmed with several people you need to notch them in order for them not to hit the frame where the front cam bolts are.
