Who is interested in a "behind the grill" light mount bracket?

I wanted to post a quick update to show you guys the "improved" gen 2 version you will all be getting. I didn't have time to cut one out of Aluminum today so here is a photo of the CAD drawing. The purple is the old version that I am running, the green is the additional "real estate" I added to the new version to give more options for mounting. It gives quite a bit more to mount lights to; it was as much as I felt comfortable adding seeing as how you still have to be able to reach behind and under it to secure it on there, etc. These should work EXCELLENT! I can't wait to see what you guys will be mounting on here.

Would it be possibly (or useful) to have holes drilled in the rear corners for mounting purposes or slightly inboard of the new rear corners?
(I know, I know, someone will quote me as saying "drilled in the rear".) :becky:

I'm shipping them without any mounting holes at all simply because there is too much variability in how everyone wants their lights mounted and which lights they will use. The steel drills easy enough and you and drill it after you mount it which is what I recommend. In the CAD drawing I posted, those two slots were from my personal setup and will not be in the final version.

You guys were just PM'ed with payment info.
As of now, I have received most everyone's payment. I will compile what I have so far and post a list of who has paid later on.
At this point, I am bumping the price up $10 to a total price of $85 shipped (with the exception of PO BOX, APO, FPO and Canadian shipments). Everyone up to this point fell under the old pricing, but due the the sheer amount of material I have purchased, I have to bump the cost for any stragglers who have not contacted me prior either through this thread or PM.
Thanks for the interest guys, the material shows up on Monday, I have already received the grade 8 hardware. We should be well underway next week and hopefully all shipped out by the following weekend.

The list is actually in reverse but it won't matter for shipping because I plan on buying a case of Redbull, not sleeping for 3 days and getting all these done next week. :faint:
