hey there t4r , we are john and lesia (lisa) from north florida (suwannee county) and have 2 older toyota trucks. 93 4x4 truck 22re/5 and a 95 4 runner 2x4 v6/auto
neither of us would own anything else but a toyota even if you gave it to us. and even then we would just sell to make our older trucks best as we can. mine is white short bed i got in 94 , hers is green w/ the gold accents. both in sorta rough shape just like their owners lol but still keep trucking.
we are disabled couple 53 and 48 and were/are forced to adapt , lisa badly mobility impaired and me i have tbi and eyesight issues both from accidents.our toyota trucks are the most adaptable ally we could ever hope to have. mine has 168k and the runner has 160k both long paid for , both easily sale-able today for profit , not that we ever would but we feel like they are gold to us. an cracker investment portfolio hehehe
4 runner works so well with ramp or wheelchair lift. we do still try to camp and do outdoors stuff and even the 2 wheel drive runner does very well off road or at the slippery boat ramp. we have a 1947 feathercraft boat on orig. gator trailer. neither are heavy but ramps here are sometimes steep and way nasty green (usually) depending on the river
i dunno what else to tell you all really other than thanks for having us here, i hope we can learn more about our trucks from the forum vets and i look forward to asking some stuff. even with me being poorly sighted i do much of the work on our trucks. dunno how much longer that but im still trying. i would welcome any of you that come thru this area
to come by and visit and see our trucks and visit. if you ever wanna fish a prehistoric looking cypress lake for big bass , we can prolly arrange that , given a little lead time
