When you get the lift and tires (as indicated in your signature) you are welcome to join on our trips. We post them on Toyota120 though, so you might want to join there and get to know everyone. That's where most of the off-roaders are. Anyone here who off-roads, is a member there.

Just click the build thread link in my signature to take you there, then create an account.
 
Pikeman / HB - Thanks for the info. I will definitely look into all those options. Last time I was considering a club was with my CJ7 and at that time my lift/tires actually excluded me! I was running a 5" suspension lift with 35's and they didn't allow anything over 33's (stupid). Looks like I'm on the other end of that now ;)

T-dub you can wheel quite a few places stock and there are groups that dont have issue with that. It is mainly mentioned simply to help you keep from body damage on some of the harder trails. 33's or 285's is what a lot of us are running and it seems to be plenty with about a 3" lift.

You are totally welcome out with us any time you want, I just suggested the lift and tires for your own benefit. Removing the running boards was a good start though!

When we do Gorman, it's a stock friendly trip so you should join. Just stay active on 120 and keep your eye out for threads for future trips.

Why did they exclude you due to your lift/tires? Was it because you couldn't fit in the parking structures when they went mall crawling?

Thx Pikeman- I've been looking around a lot and narrowed in a bit on OME with 285's. Not sure if I'm up for the debate with Thai though... ;)

Haha! Yea man- would love to come! I signed up for 120 and am finding the info there more up my alley. Not sure why they capped at 33's but probably had something to do with rollover potential? A bad driver is a bad driver (and good/good) regardless of tire size... It was Jeep Jamboree I believe in the mid 90's. I just checked their website and now the max tire size is 37" - that's much more reasonable.

Hey!

I am in San Diego and just picked up the beauty that is in my sig. Ill be in the area until June when I move up to Washington.

Going to take it over to Fallon Nevada in a few weeks where my helicopter squadron is going for training, and give it a good workout.
