Who wants to be my Volunteer for a free set of headers and a y pipe for their v8 4runner? Need the vehicle for two weeks. Working with Doug Thorley on some new options and whoever can do this will get about a $1,000 worth of free stuff.

Factory is in Corona, CA so whoever decides to do this will be without a vehicle for 2 week but you will get a free set of high flow headers and a y pipe free.

Thorley really wants to work with someone local for logistics but if no one else can or this doesn’t work this thread is still open
 
I might be interested. i live an hour away and just depends when they want to start. i have a body lift though and wanted the headers but i heard it doesn't work.
 
I'm guessing they are installing them too? If so, that's a LOT more than $1000 in free stuff. Labor alone on these is around $1000, plus materials. If I didn't already have some and a custom Y I'd offer up.

They can start as soon as TOMORROW. the sooner the better. No these won’t be installed but you’ll get a free set of short headers or long tubes and a new Y pipe! I talked to my Guy again and he says they only want someone close to corona. I don’t have full control Over this but he said he wants someone in same state that’s not hours away.

I live in the Bay Area and already own a set of DT headers which have been sitting on my shelf for the past year. I'd totally be willing to drive down if they'd install the headers for me.

Wait, I’m confused... how can they NOT install them? I would assume they need the donor vehicle to mock up/test fit, so are they going to take them back off, then reinstall the stock stuff? If so, that makes no sense...

Pending some simple questions and answers they can have my truck. Will get good exposure because it’s going to be getting Solid Axles and 40’s with magazine coverage :). RockSolidToys commences work on the axle conversion in Feb.

Because they are building a prototype, and they will need to keep the prototype to base their production off of.
