The horsepower in my v6 feels pretty good for a light lifted truck on 33's. And I can still get some pretty wicked gas mileage going 60 on the highway. And it's free!

Every other chip/tuner I've used have been engine/model specific. I would be wary of something that fits all of those engines

Lol, optimizes the AFR and timing Curves, enough to gain anything noticeable.... Do you really think that Toyota was that far off? The factory engine is fine tuned already to run flawlessly, buying this "chip" is the equivalent of throwing money down the toilet. The most it does, if anything is messes with what the MAF is trying to tell the ECU, for the better? Probably not.

This isn't doing anything to the ECU, it just fudges the MAF signal from the sounds of it.

I guess while at it can get the throttle plate spacer. Maf spacer. Aluminum pulleys. Remove ac and power steering. You would be at supercharger power if you add that all up!! Lol

You can get the same MAF piggyback from URD for $250. It's really only designed to give more power if you have aftermarket intake and exhaust. It tricks the MAF into delivering more fuel. As far as the claims it gives better fuel economy, I cannot imagine this little fits all machine can both increase air flow signals and decrease them. I had a chip on my BMW once that let me lean out the fuel to the point heat became a major factor in TX. BUT, I went from 18mpg to near 30mpg.

Maybe it has another link to the TPS, and it goes from leaner at normal at low throttle to richer than normal when the pedal is down?

Some of these cheap crapola 'ECU tuners' just mess with the engine temp sensor - make it seem colder to richen it, make it seem warmer to lean it.

Word of warning OP:

Model specific chips from reputable companies(Bully Dog, Superchip, Edge) are several hundred dollars. They allow you to run diagnostics, change tire size, rev limits, etc., and have dyno sheets to prove increased torque and HP. Even then, you as the driver don't really notice a difference.

A $70 chip can potentially damage your MAF sensor and/or ECU. One of my friends bought one for his Chevy- it burned out his MAF sensor and he had to have a shop reset his ECU. We broke open the case of the 'chip' to find a cheap resistor. You couldn't pay me to put one in my vehicle.
