Who was looking for a 4runner in CO?

Just happened across this on CL:

1999 TOYOTA 4RUNNER SR5 V6 AUTOMATIC ((SUPER CLEAN RIG!)) ONLY 8495!!!

Appears to have the "Highlander" or "Sport edition" hood scoop. Just FYI.

Price seems a bit high for having 147k but it's from a dealer so there's probably some negotiating room.

I went and test drove this 4runner yesterday. Nice truck but there was a pretty good vibration through steering and rattling noise coming from the drivetrain under a light load. It was originally from Mass. so the under body was rusted decently, but the trailer hitch and frame visible through front wheel wells were painted up all black and shiny to cover the rust. This truck had everything I wanted besides 5-speed, but if anyone else on here is considering it, I would avoid. Thanks Martin if you come across any others let me know!

Are you in the Metro area? There's a small used car dealer very close to my home that has always got 4-5 3rd gen 4runners and 1st gen Tacomas for sale. It's actually kind of funny to see so many nearly identical toyotas and they always park them right at the front of the lot - they know how popular Toyota 4x4s are in CO!

I think they're called Reliable or Economy auto sales or something like that. Location is South Broadway in between Layton and Union (4700 block south) on the West side of the street.

Hey thank you. I actually live in the mountains so it's a two hour drive to even go look at a truck. I will be down from the 29th - 1st for some new years eve concerts, so during the days I will be looking around at whatever is open. I am not sure how it is a '99 sport without the black fender flares. But it's a 5-speed!
