Who wheels on the east coast?

Hey everyone I live in south carolina and I have come to realize all the best wheeling spots I see on here tend to be mid-west and on farther west. Does any one here wheel on the east coast? the only place i know of is gulches off road park.

Really? I would like to know more about that. My 4runner is garaged on Cape Cod, consequently I do go out on the dirt roads and sometimes in the sand. Next Tuesday, though, I am flying to Vero Beach.

Google earth is your friend!! That are just travelling around, exploring. Mostly just trail rides, lots of sand everywhere, and typically the odd mudhole if that's what you're into

West coast wheeling is a lot drier than it is over here. Probably more sand overall too.

Gulches isn't a bad place to go.

im pretty burned out on mud riding as i did it in high school plenty and it leaves little to the imagination as how to do it and not quite as scenic as trail riding and etc, but maybe with enough google maps and exploring I can find some places.

Gulches only has 1-2 mud pits. There's some good technical trails there.

There are 2 excellent places to wheel in your area, Tellico and Uwharrie.

Currently in northern Florida and wheeling here. There are a couple of parks, but for the most part it is tons of sand and a lot of logging/forest roads to explore. I was stationed on the west coast in San Diego a few years ago and there is tons to offer out that way. Before that the midwest, which sorry to say has better off road parks. As mentioned though Uwharrie is supposed to be awesome. I know that it is really big with the Samurai guys.

Hyde, you are not too far north for me. When I lived in Warren I had a road bike. There are some pretty gnarly roads up there for all kinds of vehicles, especially in the winter.

Vermont is one of my favorite states. spent quite a bit of time mountain biking at Killington in the summers. Kind of like mountain biking in Colorado just with air.
