Who's running 3.5" lift... What problems may come up

Disclaimer. I've searched quite a lot and didn't find any conclusive info


I want to get the Toytec ultimate lift. I know they can go to 3.5" and would like to run them that high. What specific problems will I run into. I've read about eating through cv axles, won't the diff drop help with that at all? I read that they don't make much difference with a 3" lift.

So who's running 3.5" lift on coilovers and what did they do to run them with no problems.

I have my coilovers jacked almost all the way up about approx 4.5" for a long time now with no issues (But thats me) My car is also an 0'3, shes got some age and treachery LOL. Regardless if its "stupid" to do or w.e else anyone can think of, Ive had mine that high plus a 1.5" BL sitting about 6" total and 35's for a while now. Even before that I had about 3.5" lift (same coilovers) and 33's for 2 years with no issue. As long as you have the proper parts that a lifted vehicle needs, and maintain your rig, you should have no issues


As for the diff drop, kinda a toss up.. IMO there 20 bucks and take 10 min to install tops, And If they do what they say they do then whoopie! I'd like the added assurance to have one on just because. If they don't work, I guess its just another waste of metal.
