Who's the new guy?!

Hello everyone. My wife and I purchased a 1998 Limited 4wd 4Runner 2/14/05. WE LOVE IT, and have put 300 miles on it already. When we bought it the 4Runner had 100,200 miles on it. How much did we pay for it; $12,000. My wife wanted to buy a black 4Runner, leather interior, and sunroof. I didn't care how much we paid because we have both always wanted a 4Runner.

I saw this 4Runner on Autotrader in the DC area and drove the 5 hours to check it out and was sold when I saw how it had been cared for and the Michelin CrossTerrain tires. I like Michelins. I grew up with Toyotas because my Dad loved them: '83 Corola 2??,??? miles (odometer broke); '91 Camry 217,000 miles (Mom made Dad sell it because the body was rusting off the unibody.); and a '96 Camry 150,???. I grew up in Upstate N.Y. but now live in Virginia.

One thing about the 98 4Runner that is driving me nuts is the fog lights. I have read the other posts to get helpful info on how to fix them. Thanks.

Lee,

Thank you for your reply. I used to live in the Albany, N.Y. area and Boston wasn't too far from there. Beautiful state Massachusetts is. Here's a dumb question, got snow?

interesting you say mass. is a beautiful state. i live near lee, and i must say, as far as scenery goes, i would take upstate new york in a second. and yes, snow is def. on the menu. got all the landscape you want, as long as it has cold and snowy in it. haha. 4-6" tonight and more on monday i guess. just enough to remind us boston folk that winter is not nearly over. i just hate washing the runner so it is clean for less than a day before the next round of weather. oh well. i guess i will just have to wait another 5 minutes! haha.
